You know you're growing when you're uncomfortable & the inner critic wants you to slow down, do something else or tell you you're not good enough.
Keep going.
It's in these moments that we're fighting against our own internal defense mechanisms. The subconscious mind is trying to protect us, avoid pain, and maintain a comfortable state. But if we follow the inner critic, our subconscious mind, what we're really doing is allowing this force within each of us to limit our dreams and goals. We hesitate, instead of seize challenges. And without massive, consistent action we cannot possibly achieve our dreams and goals.
So, how do we stop the self-sabotage?
??Study self-sabotage.
??Identify your own self-sabotaging habits & patterns.
??Understand the origin of these habits & patterns.
??Create time & space to contemplate these habits & patterns.
??Discover the positive force within you.
??Cultivate the positive force within you.
??Small, consistent actions to rewire your subconscious mind & create lasting change.
??Set goals & check in regularly.
This isn't easy work. In fact, it might be the most difficult work you ever do. I still have a long way to go myself, and along the way, I've learned that there are no participation trophies.
But this is what life's all about - getting better every day, fighting against the odds, self-mastery, achieving tremendous success & leaving behind an undeniable legacy.
It begins with having the courage to honestly reflect on your own state of being so you can push through your own BS and keep climbing to the top.
Just remember, it's a lifelong journey and we're all in the same war against ourselves. I'd love to hear about your battles, what you've been struggling with, and what you've overcome. DM me if you feel the call!

4 å¹´This is so important, and yet, so difficult to do. Nature gave us brains that would allow us to survive and escape fearful situations, but we no longer live in that type of world. We need to train our brains to look at fear differently, as a challenge to be overcome. What does fear mean to you? Someone told me this and I wrote it down and read it once a week: FEAR - Faith, Enthusiasm, Action, Resourcefulness
