Philadelphia, PA – The Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center (DVIRC) has announced the retirement of Jim Williams , President of All Points Additive, from its Board of Directors. Williams, who has been an influential figure in the manufacturing sector, concluded his tenure yesterday after years of dedicated service.
Williams, who became DVIRC’s Chair of the Board of Directors, succeeding Ms. Bernadine Hawes, has a notable career history. Before his time at All Points Additive, he was the VP of Aerospace and Defense for 3D Systems, where he led advanced materials and process R&D with a focus on laser sintered engineered functional high-temperature composite thermoplastics. His role included overseeing new business development, with a focus on Department of Defense (DoD) and commercial applications, as well as managing advanced materials and process maturation, application engineering, and transition-to-production for scalable additive manufactured systems and components.

Reflecting on Williams' retirement, Chris Scafario shared a heartfelt message: “I’ve been blessed throughout my career to meet many wonderful people. Some educated and mentored me, some inspired me, others shared their secrets to success, finding happiness in life, and even scoring a good bourbon. Jim Williams brought all of that and so much more into his role as chairman of the DVIRC board of directors. While it is sad to lose a boss like Jim, it’s an incredible feeling to know I have such a great friend and truly trusted advisor!”
Jim Williams' legacy at DVIRC will undoubtedly continue to inspire and guide the organization as it moves forward. His contributions have left an indelible mark on the manufacturing sector and the DVIRC community.
