Jim DeLorenzo Public Relations , the Philadelphia-based boutique public relations consultancy serving startups, entrepreneurs and small businesses in the technology, professional services, sports and entertainment industries, celebrated its 25th anniversary in business on July 1 with the release of all 13 episodes of the first season of a new podcast and video series, “Storytelling with a Purpose.”?
Hosted by Jim DeLorenzo , the veteran public relations professional, Storytelling with a Purpose is dedicated to the role storytelling plays in successful public relations campaigns, with conversations that highlight best practices, tactics and strategies behind the process, how storytelling works in a professional setting, what goes into it, and how it can move the listener, the viewer, or the reader to some action.
In each episode, DeLorenzo interviews a guest and reveals how that guest’s life and career has led to this moment, when the guest discusses their current project or activities in a way that involves the listener or viewer, bringing to light how the listener or viewer can relate to the guest’s experiences.
Since the mid-1980s, DeLorenzo has helped a wide variety of companies, properties, events and individuals gain greater awareness in the marketplace of ideas, and through his new podcast he brings innovative ideas and new ventures into the spotlight..

DeLorenzo is a communications executive with over 30 years of experience developing and implementing successful public relations strategies and programs across broadcast, print, digital, and social media channels. Throughout his career, he has built business through hundreds of coordinated communications, marketing and media relations programs for small and midsize enterprises, sports and entertainment properties, non-profits, start-ups and entrepreneurs.
He has also led public relations and marketing activities ranging from an NCAA Division I athletics program (Villanova University), to a fast-growing start-up that went from a small private concern to a publicly traded company (US Interactive, Inc.). To date, DeLorenzo has developed and managed over 300 cost-effective communications campaigns for clients drawn from diverse industries, including technology, financial services, professional services, non-profits, sports and entertainment.
