JFF Horizons Summit: The Power of Us

Earlier this week, I attended the annual Jobs for the Future (JFF) #JFFHorizons Summit in Washington D.C. to discuss the role AI can play in eradicating systemic barriers that prevent people from advancing economically. Along with distinguished panelists, Solomon Abiola, Diya Wynn, and Dr. Claude Louis-Charles MBA, CISSP, we highlighted the importance of investing in black-owned AI start-ups in hopes of building awareness and encouraging discussions among philanthropists and investors.?

We also celebrated the announcements of the JFF and American Student Assistance (ASA) joint multiyear investment to create the new ASA Center for Career Navigation at JFF for GenZ; and JFF’s upcoming AI Equity framework with Comcast. We challenged ourselves to address the capacity of AI to eradicate systemic barriers and its impact on our future generations of workforce and learners.
