Exhibition Sustainability: Zero-Waste Stands
The Meetings Show at ExCeL London on 19-20 June showcased a revolutionary zero-waste and reusable stand. Designed by Paradigm partners isla, The Bulb, Informa and The Meetings Show, this stand was made entirely of "end of life" materials, including walls and floors of Reform recycled plastic tiles, flooring from ocean plastic, and a substructure of repurposed metal.
It's great to see the events industry embracing sustainability and eco-friendly choices more than ever. While committing to green alternatives can sometimes be challenging, especially when it comes to budget and overall convenience, it's important to remember how these kinds of decisions can benefit both the planet and the industry.
