Jesus Shows How to Generate Convertible Business Leads

Hello, I will like to share a BUSINESS INSIGHT I discovered when I was studying the book of Mark chapter one when I wake up this morning. “how to generate customers for your start-up business” please understand branding is not enough to sell you. Let me show you what I have found;
Jesus had a brand that was outstanding because at his baptism we saw the press release that unveiled is BRAND “this is my Son in whom I am pleased hear him” (yet that was not enough to get him referrals or make him a sell). So He was driven to the wilderness 40days for training, so I asked myself WHY? It was just the other day, we had that mind blowing BRAND UNVEILING why 40days of TRAINING? Then I understood why branding is not enough!! It was important He understood;
- A proper understanding of his market
- A working knowledge of his product or service value
- Finally, what his product seeks to solution in the market (this is KEY)
So what next, you may ask? After Jesus had finished his training in the above, He took a rather UNCONVENTIONAL approach to generating leads or share his product I call it TRADITIONAL MARKETING or street marketing or One on One Marketing. Wait are you surprised or in doubt (read Mark 1:14-15 He went to Galilee (his market)). The question is how did he use traditional marketing to sell his product.
- He chose a market he was familiar with (starting from the known to the unknown)
- He gathers a small team of inexperience but quick learner to work with him (you can call them interns)
- He made extremely happy customers with his product or service (product satisfaction)
- He aimed to deliver satisfactory result that is sharable leading to referrals. (Happy Testimonials)
- He allowed only minimal family interference
- He never got satisfy with is present client base, He keep expanding his market reach using the same approach (Market expansion strategy)
The result of this marketing approach lead him to get more referral that he could handle. This is not a quick approach has it takes time and consistent effort. Please kindly share your thought below.
