Jesus Christ is the answer to our broken Relationship.
Christianity is not just a creed, code, cause, ritual, religion, or church; it is Christ. It is a vital relationship with Jesus Christ. Religion and spirituality are often mistakenly understood as synonymous terms.?The former is human, the latter is divine. The traditions and rituals could make people religious, but not spiritual. Religiosity is taken up with the external, visible things. Spirituality is primarily a matter of the heart. In Matthew 15:8? Jesus said, "'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.”
The Bible, a miracle book, that has stood the test of the ages, presents Jesus Christ as absolutely and totally unique. The Bible declares that Jesus is the Creator of the world (Col. 1:16, "all things have been created by Him and for Him."); the Sustainer of the world (Col. 1:17, "in Him all things hold together."); the Lord of the world (Eph. 1:22, God has "put all things in subjection under His feet."); the Judge of the world (In?Matt. 25:32, Jesus described the day coming when He is sitting on His throne, judging the world, separating the sheep from the goats); and the Savior of the world (John 3:16, "whoever believes in Jesus will not perish, but will have eternal life.".
During His earthy ministry, after Jesus gives a difficult teaching for many to accept, a multitude of his disciples cease following him (John 6:22-65). At this point, he turns to the?twelve?disciples and asks, "Do you want to go away as well?
“Simon Peter replied, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life. (John 6:68) Now let me tell you something about Jesus Christ. Only Jesus has the answer to the things that matter. Only Jesus can meet the deepest hunger of the human heart. Only Jesus is the answer to man's sin. Only Jesus gives meaning to life and death. Only Jesus can take the sting out of sin, the gloom out of the grave, the pain out of parting, and give hope that is steadfast and sure. "To whom shall we go"? He alone has the answers of life and death. Jesus alone is God’s answer to our disappointment, doubt, desires, despair, darkness, and death. No matter what our individual needs, Jesus is the answer for our lives today, and He promises a better future to come.
