Jesus Encourages Discipline and Productivity

Why did the employer pay a day's wages, to the one that worked 8 hours, to another who worked 4 hours, and to the 3rd for 1 hour of work? This wise employer saw idle people, who were passed over, sitting all day. I believe that watching kids play games, watching TikTok, TV, etc., is pure idleness. What can we do to motivate them to work? As we read in Matthew 20, this wise employer was questioned about why he paid exactly the same amount, even when someone only worked 1 hour? It was his money, and no one else business, about how he invests it. What about the laborer? Do you think he showed up the next day and worked a full 8 hours? Was he indebted to this employer? Was he motivated to outwork all others, not due to guilt, but to gratitude? I believe he did.
