Hitting a snag indicates that you have done the best you could with your current experience, expertise and skill set. It’s now time to move to the next level. But if you knew how to move to the next level, you would have already helped yourself. So the first thing to do is find yourself a mentor. Someone who will access your current stagnation and show you how to recalibrate. Singlemindedly focus on building on inputs from your mentor. Remember, learning at this stage is hard. initial failures can be demotivating. Don’t give up! Once you’re confident of your new learnings, take on an assignment that would have daunted you earlier. Watch yourself succeed and go out and build your network based on your revitalised self!

Las relaciones públicas no escapan a la realidad de las tendencias y herramientas tecnológicas que se convierten en la prioridad al momento de ejecutar planes. Por ejemplo, como actualmente sucede con la inteligencia artificial. Sin embargo, a diferencia del marketing digital, sigue siendo una actividad con una alta carga humana, donde tejer relaciones de acercamiento con las distintas audiencias y potenciales clientes sigue siendo más un aspecto de sentimientos humanos, que una planificación totalmente robótica. En este sentido, potenciar el networking con los diferentes actores que hacen vida en un entorno profesional de las RP, sigue siendo una prioridad para alcanzar objetivos satisfactorios con los distintos planes de acción.

It can be difficult for communications and PR professionals to stay positive, especially in the wake of crisis, tragedy, or the fact that we’re often the first to know and the last to grieve. Establishing a strong network of folks that you can trust and talk candidly to is key to rebounding back to a positive mindset. Even more so is establishing consistent mental health routines that help you process difficult emotions. Taking care of yourself and your mental health first is key to you being effective at helping others.

Adversity can forge our determination when our hearts are aligned with our cause. With purpose as our guide, we can face any trial, our heads held high, as we march ever onward towards our destiny.
