Learning from people who have world-class sales performance seems to be the best way to succeed.

When I was a young seller, both in age and experience I took the opportunity to learn from the people that was the best performers. They had the kindness to take me under their wings.

?

I owe them for helping me survive in the tough and sometimes brutal sales environment of selling sales training. Often I came back to the office after 5 o′clock – tired, exhausted, and with the feeling of failure. These people picked me up and showed me some of their sales tactics, which I tried the next day.? And failed again. And was picked up again.

?

For every failure, there was a small improvement. By doing more than 330 physical sales calls in the first 6 months I managed to fail more than some salespeople do in 10 years. That year I became the rookie of the year – scoring high on the list of our firm's best sellers.

?

To honor the courage to fail, to ask for help, and to share with others I have decided to create Jens Edgren Hall of Fame AWARD for world-class sales performance.

People I see have made great achievements, people I have learned from, and people whose contributions need to be recognized I will include in my personal hall of fame.

?

This is of the cause against the famous Swedish Jantelag, in English” don't believe you are anything special”.

But with 35 years of experience in selling sales training, training more than 16000 people from some of the most known companies around the globe, author of 7 books, and a father of 5 kids I believe I have the right to do so.
