Jeffrey Kennel Joins ID Logistics US as Treasury Director

ID Logistics, an international leader in contract logistics, has hired Jeff Kennel as Treasury Director. Kennel will report to Brandon Nagy, VP, Finance & Treasury.

Kennel is a results-driven and broad-minded treasury and finance executive with extensive operating experience. In his nearly 30-year career, Kennel’s professional philosophy is to be a forward-thinking and enterprising leader who fosters a collaborative, analytical, and innovative workforce. Kennel’s skills gathered over years from world-class organizations both stateside and abroad include extensive knowledge in global capital markets, strategic planning, process improvement, and fiduciary oversight. He believes in protecting financial assets, mitigating risks, enhancing optimal cash utilization, and providing financial thought leadership for the broader organization.

As Treasury Director, Kennel will be responsible for assessing the products, services, technologies, and systems that are available and appropriate for the finance department. Kennel will oversee cash management initiatives, bank relationships, and day-to-day treasury operations, establish short-term borrowing needs, and recommend short-term investing initiatives. Additionally, Kennel will manage working capital and credit management while leading project financing and working capital initiatives.

Before joining ID Logistics, Kennel most recently worked for Revlon as their Vice President, Treasury & Investor Relations. At Revlon, he was responsible for activities including short and long-term capital planning, negotiating credit agreements, shareholder engagement, overseeing global cash operations, insurance program design and oversight, and leading a team of seven treasury professionals. Prior to that, Kennel worked as Treasurer for The Duracell Company, the multi-billion-dollar manufacturer of batteries based in Chicago, IL.

Kennel received his degree in finance from Western Illinois University and his MBA (Master of Business Administration) from Northern Illinois University.
