Jeff Troan named to the Institute for Tax Professionals Committee on Credits and Incentives for 2017

I'm pleased to announce that I have been appointed as a Committee Member on the Credits and Incentives Committee at the Institute for Professionals in Taxation. I have participated in IPT now for about a decade, primarily serving to construct and teach a good bit of their bootcamp curriculum related to economic development contracts.
The Committee is responsible for curriculum and events surrounding the trade industry group's credits and incentives practice. As part of my participation, I hope to enhance the "case study" portion of the bootcamp program.
IPT is now in its fortieth year, and has become the premier trade industry group for companies and municipalities incorporating the emerging micro-economic discipline of economic development. Their curriculum, networking and guidance is playing a key role in enabling Corporate Tax Professionals to play an ever more proactive role in business decision making.
I look forward to the challenge in 2017. As the old submariners say, "Good Luck and Good Hunting" to you all in 2017.
