I’m calling this the Jeff Daniels volume of the newsletter because, honestly, the man is a legend. If you haven’t already, do yourself a favor and dive into his two-book Audible series, Alive & Well Enough. It’s a masterclass in storytelling. Jeff Daniels doesn’t just talk. He invites you into his world, sharing stories that are raw, relatable, and deeply human. His perspective is thoughtful, his delivery impeccable, and his life? Nothing short of incredible. Seriously.

We toss around the term "national treasure" a lot, but this man owns it. He’s more than an actor or musician - he’s someone who has carved out a space in our cultural lexicon with authenticity and grace. So, take a moment to listen, reflect, and maybe even laugh along the way.

Welcome to my Five Favorites - a place for me to share a few things I’ve been enjoying lately.?Maybe you have some favorites, too?

1. National Civil Rights Museum: I had a day trip to Memphis, Tennessee last month and had the chance to visit this facility. What a really well done experience. I highly recommend it. Author’s Note: This is one you want to dedicate some time to! You’re not just perusing through!

2. VistaPrint: For the “handmade” gifts or printed collateral you might need.

3. Spotify Wrapped: Isn’t it fun to see what your friends are listening to? I always find a few new songs or bands with this “research”.

4. Miles Runs: AKA maintaining your airline standing. A good excuse to see a friend for lunch or a happy hour. Sometimes you just need the status boost so you take an extra flight.

5. New Restaurants: During the holidays, the service industry staff tends to take a hit because fewer people are dining out. It’s a great time to try a new restaurant or two!
