A Jealous Yesterday

It's Monday and for many, this day is dreaded. The weekend is over. The "work" week has begun! It's like there is an uphill battle to get to Friday but we're still at the bottom! We have to shake that attitude. Today is a gift, that's why we call it the present. No matter how good yesterday was for you, make today even better. Imagine for a moment if we had a relentless desire to be better.
A better person, a better basketball player, a better student, a better employee, a better leader... just a better YOU and a better ME! Imagine if we said, forget about how good yesterday was because today I'm getting started on making sure all of my tomorrows are amazing! How awesome would that be?
We tend to prefer the weekends over the weekdays because on the weekends we focus on ourselves. We do what we want to do. There's no one else dictating our time. I get it. But what if we continued to focus on ourselves during the week, too? You know we can do that, right? There may be different aspects of our lives that we focus on during the week, but we still can focus on our happiness. If 4 out of 7 days of your week are dreaded days (we tend to enjoy Fri-Sun), a change has to be made.
Start today with that change! Change for you. Make the changes so great today, that what you did yesterday cann't even compare!
