JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Finance Applications Manager. Amsterdam The Netherlands. English Speaking. Permanent Role.

This requirement is an immediate start on a full time, permanent basis, onsite 5 days a week in Amsterdam The Netherlands.

My client has concluded an upgrade of their JD Edwards ERP systems to the latest release EnterpriseOne 9.2 and will transition from business partner management to in-house management of their JDE ERP systems. We are looking for a JD Edwards applications manager to assume this initiative from a business prospective. The role will manage the business team members?and users from offices in Europe and Asia and liaise with the 3rd party implementation partner where required. You will report directly to the ICT director.

The ideal candidate will be based in The Netherlands, and have business level English language; Dutch is a distinct advantage, but not a prerequisite.

You will need strong experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications, preferably finance modules GL, AR, AP and Assets. Any supply-chain and logistics knowledge and experience is a benefit.

An important task assigned to the ICT department is to contribute to improvement/revision of work processes within this system. In the short term, this will mean making a number of adjustments to the current ERP system. These will mainly concern the redesign of the financial modules in particular.

In the medium term the client is looking to replace another important IT system that interfaces directly with JD Edwards, and this project will require significant input and project/ change management from the JDE applications manager.

Desired skills & Experience:

• ?Solid JD Edwards E1 financials applications experience.
• JD Edwards E1 supply chain and logistics experience.
• Participation in various improvement processes regarding JD Edwards modules.
• Experience with project management and change management.
• Oracle BI Publisher, OBI BI.
• Good knowledge of SQL Management of “data set up”? and “ user data”.
• Solving problems reported by colleagues.
• Daily monitoring of processes that occur within JD Edwards.
• Correctly translating new business requirements and wishes into system requirements within JD Edwards and documenting the functional and technical design of JD Edwards.
• Answering questions regarding document changes in Oracle BI Publisher.
• Sparring partner regarding the datasets to be used for reporting purposes.
• Supporting the system and the users.
• Ability to accurately and efficiently document changes to the system and new system processes.
• Customer oriented and analytical
• Hands-on and a good team player.
