J.C. Penney in Talks With Landlords to Suspend or Reduce Store Rent Payments
The department store chain retailer is asking landlords for a rent abatement to suspend or only partially pay rent through the end of the summer in hopes of stashing away funds in hopes of preserving cash flow.
