JBM Auto forecasts 1,50,000 e-buses for State Transport Utilities (STUs)?by?2030

Project Topaz and Everest:

Company has introduced Project Topaz, an integrated EV Bus manufacturing facility with a capacity of 10,000 buses, and Project Everest for some novelty products in 12m and 13.8m segments.

• In FY24, e-bus sales surged 79 per cent totalling 3,607 units, driven primarily by public sector entities, including state transport undertakings?(STUs).
• The group sees exponential growth in e-bus demand, with plans to introduce 3,000 vehicles?in?FY25.
