JBIET Celebrates Placement Day 2024

In celebration of academic excellence and professional aspirations, J.B. Institute of Engineering and Technology (JBIET) held its much-anticipated Placement Day 2024 on May 1, 2024. The event was a testament to the institute's commitment to student success and was graced by eminent personalities from various fields.

Shri Bhaskar Gandhavadi Garu, Director of Workforce Development and Curriculum, ServiceNow, a prominent figure known for his contributions to education and industry, adorned the occasion as the esteemed chief guest. He congratulated the placement achievers and highlighted the importance of?upskilling their knowledge as technology keeps changing. As well, he also suggested that upcoming placement aspirants invest in learning. ?His presence not only added prestige but also inspired the gathering with his insightful words and invaluable experience.

Shri J.V. Krishna Rao Garu, the Secretary of JBES (J.B. Educational Society), played a pivotal role as the Chief Patron. He addressed the gathering by congratulating the achievers of JBIET for securing placements not only in the corporate sector but also for those serving as civil servants and entrepreneurs in different states of India. He has quoted 400+ students and parents' dreams coming?true, and he has closed his speech with an inspirational quote: “Urge to learn should not die.”

Prof. Ch. Sanjay Garu, Director, JBES, congratulated placement achievers on their outstanding achievements. who have secured placements in renowned companies, marking a significant milestone in their professional journey. He has inspired the upcoming placement aspirants with the quote, “Opportunities are to be converted into placements.”

Dr. P.C. Krishnamachary Garu, the esteemed Principal of JBIET, graced the occasion as the patron, showcasing his commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a conducive learning environment. His guidance and leadership have been instrumental in shaping the institute's academic trajectory. Speaking on this occasion, he emphasized that 400+ students are placed in the top?MNCs, and the college has signed MOUs with several organizations.

Our distinguished guests of honour, Jitender Singh, Vice President, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Mr Abhishek Doijode, India Campus Lead, Virtusa, Ms.Catriona Mackness, Sr.Director, HR, Thomson Reuters; Mr. Madan Mohan Bandari, Director of HR, Apps Associates, Mr. Vinod Kumar, CEO, Gem OpenCube Technologies; and Mr. Mayank Gupta, Director, People Business Partner, OPTUM, graced the function and had insightful thoughts that inspired the students and reinforced the importance of continuous learning and skill development. They also shared tips and tricks, dos and don’ts, to?help achievers survive in today's competitive job market.
