Shri Balaji and Shri Hanuman ji is same. its just the form is different. Balaji is Bala +JI Bala= Baal hanuman , hanuman in child form, this name is specifically dedicated to child form of hanuman it consider very fearsome. this name is famous mostly in north India, because of the one of the most famous temple in India, near Bharatpur, (Rajasthan) named Mehendipur Balaji famous for curing ghost or all other these type of problems, that's why most of the people in this area called Bal hanuman as Balaji Maharaj. While in South India Balaji refers to lord Venkatesh, who is famous because of Tirupati Balaji temple he is basically a form of lord Vishnu.

Lord Hanuman is an incarnation of Lord Shiva, who served Lord Rama one of the incarnation of Lord Vishnu in Treta Yuga. Lord Hanuman is Chiranjivi(Immortal) believed to be present even in this age. Lord Venkateshwara or Balaji is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu himself,who descended to earth in the current yuga (Kali) Worshiping Lord Hanuman will please Lord Venkateshwara, and praying to lord Balaji will take you closer to Hanuman who is epitome of selfless service and devotion towards lord Ram -Vishnu-Venkateshwara-Balaji.

Balaji: In north India ; Bala ji means Bal Swaroop or child like Hanuman ji. In this vigraha or form; Lord Hanuman ji is worshiped as a child. Well, seers believe that a child gets appeased easily than any mature person. Salasar Bala ji: There is a popular shrine dedicated to Lord Hanuman ji at Salasar in Rajasthan. Salasar Bala ji is popular as a wish fulfilling Hanuman ji. Though, Hanuman Ji is also named as Balaji but Balaji is also named of Lord Vishnu, so they are same and different too.

Balaji Tripati ji is the most important shrine of Hindus in Tamil Nadu. Hanuman Ji is named as Balaji somewhere in India and Bala Ji is also named of Lord Vishnu or Tripati ji Venkateshwar in Tamil Nadu, an important shrine of Hindus.

Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple is a landmark Vaishnava temple situated in the hill town of Triumala in Chittur district of Andhra Pradesh, India. The Temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu who is believed to be appeared here to save mankind from trials and troubles of kali yuga. Hence the place has also got the name Kaliyuga Vaikuntham of Lord Vishnu also.

Lord Vishnu here is referred to as Kaliyuga Prathyaksha Daivam. The temple is also known by other names like Tirumala Temple, Tirupati Temple, Tirupati Balaji Temple. Venkateswara is known by many other names: Balaji, Govinda, and Srinivasa. The Temple is constructed in Dravidian architecture and is believed to be constructed over a period of time starting from 300 AD. The Garbagriha(Sanctum Sanctorum) is called Ananda Nilayam. The presiding deity, Venkateswara, is in standing posture and faces east in Garbha griha. This is one of the most ancient and richest temple in the world. Shirdi Aai Baba is just another one step down richest temple.

Hanuman ji is also considered as Balaji a famous temple in Rajasthan. He is also present here in child form as Bala ji for rescue of people who are stricken with grief, pained, and who are affected by several incurable disease, ghost, horror or under affluence of Witch or Braham Pisach etc. Story as it is- It is said that Bhagwan Sri Ram once appeared here in this Kalyug about 500 years back before Hanuman Ji and ordered him to cure all pained, and grief people here. Bhagwan had asked him to cure all disease of the people, who come to his door. Bhagwan had offered Hanuman ji his divine powers also for curing all people who are victim and who are under affluence of Bhut Pret, Pishach and under black magic powers.

So, one day a Brahmin saw Hanuman ji in his dream, who was ordering Brahmin to dig somewhere down hill. Brahmin as instructed by Hanuman ji went there and dug the land and after digging some land, he found a idol of Hanuman ji who was in the child form. Hanuman ji in his child form ordered Brahmin to construct a temple there and he would cure all affected people, who are under black magic, or grief or victim if incurable disease. Since, Balaji or Hanuman ji is present there and now a big temple was built there.

People from all states come there for darshan of Hanuman Ji and Bhagwan Sri Ram. It is said that Bhagwan Sri Ram is also present there in Kalyug. So, Balaji /Hanuman ji is the obvious present god there for rescue of Kalyug influence. I have visited this temple two times and I am proposing to visit there again for darshan of Hanuman ji. Those, who do not have faith in ghost or pret, have challenge that temple. One can go there and experience the divine influence of Hanuman Ji /Balaji there. Jai Sri Ram
