Javaid Iqbal Joins Special Technology Zones Authority, as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)

We are pleased to announce that Mr Javaid Iqbal has joined STZA as our Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), as a Member and Executive Director. As CCO, Javaid will be responsible for international and domestic business development, global partnerships, marketing activities and delivery. He will enable and facilitate the business pipeline that funnels into our Zone Development and Zone Enterprises network to create and establish a technology-driven ecosystem within the Special Technology Zones across Pakistan.

Javaid brings a unique blend of expertise from the global technology industry, academic prowess, government policymaking and innovation. Before joining STZA, Javaid served as the CEO of TransformX, a global consultancy focused on advisory and education in the digital innovation, transformation, and customer experience space. He previously served as a Customer Engagement and Success Leader at Salesforce in the North American region and spent his early career at EY and PwC.

Javaid was an adjunct Professor of Customer Relationship Management at DePaul University (USA) and speaks globally on Customer Centricity, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Digital Sales, and the Future of Work. In 2019, he was among 7 speakers invited by Google to speak on the “Future of Artificial Intelligence and Humanity”. Javaid attended Purdue University for his undergraduate studies in Computer Information Systems and holds a Masters’ degree in Communication Systems Strategy and Management from Northwestern University where the focus of his academic research was bridging the business, technology, and communication gap towards finding growth opportunities across global enterprises.?
