Jason Murray, Financial Advisor at ATB Wealth, recognized as Wealth Professional Awards Excellence Awardee

We’re very excited to announce that Jason Murray, Financial Advisor at ATB Wealth, has been recognized as a 2022 Excellence Awardee in the 8th Annual Wealth Professional Awards in the category of Nour Private Wealth Award for Rising Star Advisor of the Year.?

The Wealth Professionals Awards in partnership with Wealth Professional Canada (WP) magazine recognize the leading wealth professionals, financial advisors, advisory brokerages, fund providers, BDMs, and service providers for their outstanding achievements, best practices, and leadership in wealth management over the past 12 months.?

Meet Jason

Jason Murray started his wealth career at ATB Wealth in early 2020. Despite beginning his role just before COVID-19 restrictions came into place, Jason has flourished as an advisor, using technology to ensure a great client experience even if he wasn’t able to meet his clients in-person. He has consistently provided a high level of advice and service to a substantial number of families in Lloydminster, St. Paul, and Vermilion communities, in just over two years.

Jason’s connection to the community runs deep as he grew up in a farming family located in the area he now advises. His ability to relate to the farming community through shared life experiences with his clients has led him to develop strong relationships. His clients not only seek his advice but also like talking to him about their lives.?

The hallmark of Jason’s practice is ensuring he understands clients’ goals and objectives and educates them on different investment vehicles. Jason doesn’t just present his plans and recommendations??he works to make sure that his clients understand the why behind them and how they will best support reaching their financial goals.?

?Although only in his role for two years, Jason has already achieved his CIM designation and has passed his CFP examination.? Advancing his education is a priority for Jason and he feels this is a key component for creating success for his clients.

With how much Jason has accomplished in his first two years, along with his commitment to continuing to grow and develop his skills and knowledge, ATB Wealth can’t wait to see how far he will continue to rise. The future looks bright for Jason and we are proud to have him on the ATB Wealth team.
