Japan Welcomes a Ski-in/Ski-Out Ritz-Carlton Reserve

Located at the base of Japan’s Mount Niseko Annupuri is Higashiyama Niseko Village, known as a ski resort and the new hot spot for this Ritz-Carlton Reserve. Visitors can indulge at the northernmost island of Hokkaido, where Higashiyama Niseko Village is based. The ski-in/ski-out property marks the hotel brand’s fifth Ritz-Carlton Reserve in the world.

Sports enthusiasts will enjoy the 2,191 acres of skiable terrain with access to backcountry skiing. Nearby is an international ski school, chairlifts and gondolas, a dining and retail venue, an outdoor activity park and two golf courses.

The boutique property’s vibe is one of contemporary sophistication with polished marble, cedarwood and flame-brushed granite. The restaurants’ menus reflect the season of availability with locally sourced produce, meats, and seafood.

The spa is focused on holistic treatments and features a traditional Japanese onsen, natural underground hot springs found in Niseko. Additionally, there’s a fitness center with Technogym equipment.

Guests can expect their own personal host known as “Do San” (a person of Hokkaido) who will guide them through a single touchpoint to access all amenities, services, and offerings.
