Last Sunday (23/02/2020), me and my daughter, had the opportunity to join a great event, hosted by Aeroscopia museum in Toulouse, and organized by Japan Airlines , International origami plane association and Airbus.
During the event, we could learn about Origami’s, share nice moments immersed in the Japanese culture and get motivation in an 100% aerospace environment!
On 19th December 2010, Takuo Toda,who is the chairman of the Japan Origami Airplanes Association,accomplished the splendid feat of breaking the Guinness World Record at Sapporo Dome in Hokkaido, Japan with 29.2 sec
Japan Airlines (JAL) was founded in 1951 and became the first international airline in Japan. Additionally, International Paper Plane Association (hereinafter “the Association”) and Japan Airlines (hereinafter “JAL”) announced that they will hold an annual JAL Origami Plane National Competition for children who have passed regional preliminary matches held in every region of Japan, starting fiscal year 2017.
The aim of these competitions is to stimulate dreams of the sky and friendship through Origami Plane activities, and increase opportunities to promote communications and culture exchanges. Furthermore, the Association and JAL will hold the JAL Origami Plane Asian Competition in November 2017, and the first-ever JAL Origami Plane World Competition in 2020.
