January's Best Video Marketing Tips From Around The Web

Hello all you curious and wonderful LinkedIn legends. I've gathered a few of the best nuggets of video marketing wisdom from around the internet to deliver them here in a nice morsel sized article for your delectation. I hope you enjoy.

A Video To Watch: How To Get More Views On YouTube

If any of you are familiar with Brian Dean from backlinko.com, you’ll know that he is a veritable saucy wizard in the World of search ranking. He delivers exceptional content on SEO techniques and tricks. His articles will more often than not cause me to salivate wildly with geek ridden merriment (I could have very easily spared you that detail… I’m sorry).

Brian delivers yet again with this fantastic video on improving your search results on Youtube. Here’s my crass summary of the video’s contents.

  1. Find a wildly popular video in your niche
  2. Make a bigger, better sequel of said video

There’s a lot more to it than that but Brian breaks it down superbly in his trademark “Step-by-step” style. If you can find it in your hearts to look past his attempts at humorous cut scenes then you’ll be very pleased you gave this video a few minutes of your time today.

An Article To Read: The Top Trending Videos & YouTube Ads of 2018

A Great Free Tool: Expert Advice For Video Marketing

They say the best things in life are free. That’s not strictly true though is it? For example, yesterday I ate a chocolate caramel peanut bomb… I paid money for it…. and I’m pretty sure it’s the best thing that ever happened to me. That being said, there can be some pretty darn special things that are free and TechSmith Academy just proved it.

They have released a free video course with bucket loads of interviews and more than 6 hours worth of content. All this for the grand total of… nothing… zilch… diddly-squat (I’m all out of synonyms but you get the idea). You’ll have to create an account to access it but for over 6 hours of quality content, I think that’s a fair trade.

That’s a wrap my friends. Now go forth and astound the masses with your wonderful new video knowledge.

I’ll be lying in the corner in a sort of chocolate caramel peanut flavoured haze.
