LAP Leaders: Progress and Collaboration
On January 23, the seven Executive Directors selected to participate in Nonprofit Net’s Leadership Acceleration Program (LAP) met to share the progress they’ve made since their gathering in November. Their successes are remarkable, including:
? Recruiting skilled board members
? Securing major grant awards
? Pursuing new partnerships
? Completing a vision statement and strategic plan
Beyond individual achievements, the spirit of collaboration stood out—participants openly exchanged insights, resources, and relevant experiences, strengthening each other’s leadership journeys. Group members represent fairly diverse organizations in the nonprofit sector; the wisdom they’ve acquired and the strategies they’ve employed have been of significant value to their LAP colleagues.
?With two more Peer Group meetings ahead—one in April and another in June—the cohort will continue refining strategies, supported by dedicated one-on-one coaching.

?? Shining the Spotlight: CultureHouse
This month we're excited to highlight 2024/2025 Leadership Acceleration Program (LAP) participant CultureHouse , an urban design nonprofit that uses creative placemaking to address global challenges at the local scale.
They transform underutilized places into vibrant community pop-ups, work with partners to implement tactical urbanist interventions, and conduct research on new ways of making livable cities. CultureHouse works with people to make communities more happy, healthy, vibrant, sustainable, and equitable.
