Happy New Year to you!?

We hope you had a lovely Christmas and are now well and truly settled into the new year.?

This year for us has already been hectic as we welcome new staff, conduct IT Audits and install new customers.

Throughout the year we will be having lots of offers on some of our services and equipment such as laptops, printers, phones and much more. So keep a lookout on our social media pages and newsletters as you never know, there might be something you need!

As we are partners with most leading brands, we are able to get your IT equipment cheaper than you can find it online, so it's always worth checking with us before you click that purchase button.

Our support and maintenance team aren't just here to support businesses on bigger projects but to also handle the day to day maintenance and admin tasks such as user set-ups, system checks, backup logs, virus updates, security updates and much more. We also like to look ahead an inform you what upgrades and services your business could benefit from in the future.

We offer telephone, remote support aswell as onsite support if required.?Our technical support team have many years of skills and experience and have a wealth of knowledge on all the main brands such as Apple, Microsoft, Adobe, Sophos and more. They also have a broad range of third party applications and utilities as well as all hardware elements and modern telephones.

We have a few new starters, Karen Slater who is our new Accounts Assistant and Adam Collins who is our new Technical Support Engineer. Welcome to the team!

Here is a little bit of background info about our fab new starters!

"Hey, I'm Karen. I have recently joined CTS, to work within their accounts department. It has been great to go back to an office environment, and CTS are very welcoming and it’s a great team to be a part of, where I am able to continue to learn and develop.?I am currently studying for my AAT Foundation and Advanced course in Accounting proving it’s never too late to change your career.??Before CTS I worked within the family roofing business managing the office and preparing accounts, and with this experience it gave me the confidence to start my accounting course.

I am a mum of two girls, Rosie 12 & Ruby 10, they both love to dance, so my evenings & often weekends are spent driving to and from their dance studio.

Just before my children were born, I pursued my passion for health and fitness and qualified as a Personal Trainer and Pilates instructor, I loved working with people and making a real difference to peoples’ life, and being instrumental in helping them create good habits, and seeing first hand how exercise benefits people and the positive effects it can have both physically and mentally.

One of my favourite things to do is go on early morning runs with our dog Monty or if I have any free time, I still love to go the gym, though nowadays I’m just as happy with coffee and cake!!"

"Hi, I'm Adam. I joined the Army at 16 and did 6 years as a Telecoms Operator in the Royal Engineers, went on to do various roles at Heathrow Airport, then completed my IT Apprenticeship.

I am a 2nd Line Technical Engineer, Supporting customer across various platforms, including Desktop Support, ISP support and Phone support.

I have 3 boys under 3 (twins at 2 years old and an 8-month-old), I enjoy playing football and going to the Pub! I like eating (too much!) and Guinness. I don’t like marmite or peanut butter . I’m approachable and pride myself on relationship building.

I hope we get a chance to talk, please say hello!"

We would also like to say Happy Birthday to Karen who celebrated her birthday on the 16th, she spent the day painting and decorating. Rock n roll!

During December we held an Elf On The Shelf competition where we received hundreds of entries. Thank you to all our customers who also entered. It surely gave us a good giggle in the office! The winner was Lisa who won some Amazon vouchers, the picture of the "Elf Shave Attack" received the most votes and is on the cover.
