As we go into the third year of the pandemic it’s a good time to revisit your finances and see what lessons you’ve learned about budgeting for your household through the pandemic. Get Back On Track

Usually after the holidays we lose track of our spending and our budget goes out the window, so it’s a good time to set up a budgeting date with yourself for the new year!?

You can treat yourself to a nice coffee out or you can make sure to block out a time that is uninterrupted at home so that you can focus on your budget date.?

…But Also Switch Up The Track?

If you’ve found yourself struggling to track the spending you’ve been doing all of 2021 then it’s time to check out a new way to track your spending for 2022.?

If you’ve been tracking your spending by writing everything down in a notebook, maybe try tracking your spending by recording all of your expenses on Microsoft Excel on your phone and vice versa.?

If you’ve been having trouble with tracking all of your spending on a weekly basis try setting aside 15 minutes a night to track your expenses at the end of the day.?

Our advice is to just switch up the ways you’ve been slacking on tracking your budget and tighten up your methods for this upcoming year.?
