January highlights at Philanthropy in Ukraine

January has been an exciting start to 2025 for the team at Philanthropy in Ukraine—full of activity planning, project launches, and the first events of the year.

So, what's new?

The Platform PhilinUA

The big news is the launch of our unique platform designed to enhance the visibility, credibility, and growth opportunities for Ukrainian non-profits.

Registration is now open, offering CSOs the chance to join a verified catalog of trusted organizations, connect with donors, and access exclusive resources.

Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of the platform!

Knowledge-sharing events

In January, we hosted two fantastic lectures:

  • On January 21, Anna Nishnianidze , co-founder of Philanthropy in Ukraine, delivered a lecture on "Annual reports without the stress." We received nearly 80 registrations and a lot of positive feedback!
  • On January 30, we held a webinar with Professor Richard Marker on "Philanthropy education: what is it and why does It matter?" It was insightful and beneficial for non-profit sector professionals.

Public Speaking

On January 27, Anna Nishnianidze gave a speech on localizing development in Ukraine at the side event at the DG ECHO Senior Officials Meeting on Ukraine, hosted by Alliance UA CSO, Ukrainian Red Cross Society, co-organized by Protect Humanitarians and Caritas Europa. We believe that open communication and a strong voice will continue to support our work and growth.

Knowledge Hub

We are continuously creating new analytical content to support non-profit professionals. This month, we released several valuable materials:

Hi Anna, I realise this is about philanthropy in Ukraine but are you involved with Ukrainians or any other nationality who are British registered taxpayers in the U.K who want to support philanthropy in Ukraine? If 'Yes' we should talk. Best wishes, Michael Hayton.
