There are all kinds of jobs in the world, and some of them are just harder than others. Being in law enforcement is one of them. I've had positive interactions with police officers - like the police escort that the Cleveland police provide for the Tour of Good Cheer every December. Their efforts certainly get us to our nine stops delivering toys, coats, and sweaters to the needy a lot more quickly than we would be able to do otherwise. My nephew is a policeman, and my next-door neighbor is retired from the force. I've also gotten a few speeding tickets in my day - so seeing the red and blue lights behind me is never a good feeling. However, we owe a lot of these folks who give so much and keep us safe.
