My friend Maureen recently visited her local library. On the receipt she received showing her the books she checked out, it also said, "You saved $83.79 by visiting your local library." What a cool way to acknowledge Maureen's choice of getting her choice of reading materials for FREE at her local library.

When it comes to #EmployeeEngagement, make sure that your employees not only know the personal and professional development resources you have available for them, but educate them on HOW to use these resources. Many employees may not have picked up a non-fiction book since their school days. Instead of saying, "We have these books, you should read them," say, "We've been discussing some of the issues in Chapter 3 of this book. I'd love it if you would read these couple of pages, and come up with a few ideas we can use here in our office." You're being specific, expanding that employees educational horizons, and giving them the opportunity to share knowledge with their peers. It's a win/win/win.
