Zaneta's story

Reflecting on our 25th anniversary, we're inspired by stories like Zaneta's. She and her young boys spent three weeks at?Mary's?Place?after fleeing domestic violence in their home. After finding housing and settling in, Zaneta wanted to support others going through difficult times as a?Mary's?Place?volunteer helping with housing applications. Fast forward, Zaneta laid the foundation for our still thriving housing program and served as a Site Director at our Women’s Day Center and family shelters.?Click here?to learn more about her inspiring story, including a special story from King 5's Jake Whittenberg.

THANK YOU for helping us ensure no child sleeps outside

This year's?successful No Child Sleeps Outside campaign has come to a close, and we are so grateful to our community for stepping up to help bring every child inside this winter! Together, we met our year-end fundraising goal to provide warmth, meals, and safety to hundreds of families in our community. Along with financial donations, there were hundreds of toys, gift cards, and volunteer hours donated to make the holidays special for our families! BIG thanks to our generous community for the many gifts of love and hope!
