Letter From Our President:
Welcome to a New Year with Greater Kansas City MGMA!
As we bid farewell to 2024, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of you — our valued members and business partners — for your commitment and contributions over the past year. Your dedication fuels the mission of the MGMA-GKC, and together, we continue to elevate the standard of medical practice management in our region.
A special thank you goes to our outgoing president, Rebecca Allison, M.B.A., FACMPE , for her exceptional leadership throughout 2024. Under her guidance, we navigated new opportunities, fostered meaningful connections, and provided robust educational resources to our members. Developing Your New Employee Onboarding Plan and Handbook
Session Overview: Most businesses don’t know where to start when onboarding and implementing or even creating their first handbook. They Frankenstein documents by copy/pasting words from dept of labor websites, and googling their next move, but in the end don’t include any specific nuances, cultural views or values that are specific to their company.
This mistake costs the business owners fines, hires, time, contracts, and costly legal fees.
