What's in store 2024??
All things considered the housing market seems to be showing resilience entering 2024.
Depending on which reports you look at and the geographic location analysed, house price falls for 2023 vary hugely although overall, it seems the decline wasn’t as sharp as initially projected.
A further 2% decline could occur over the course of the next 12 months however this doesn’t seem as alarming and more just a correction of growth.
The bank of England’s decision to maintain interest rates offers buyers a little more confidence and many experts believing that the base rate has now passed its peak.
Whilst political factors could of course play their part in the next 12 months its highly anticipated that we should continue to see stability in the property market offering confidence to both buyers and sellers.
As always, we will continue to monitor the conditions affecting the property market and provide updates each month.
