WGU Labs Accelerator Pitch Competition

Our inaugural pitch competition with Western Governors University is now open! If you’re a for-profit postsecondary education or workforce education startup, consider applying .

Up to five finalists will receive paid hotel, air travel, and registration for the 2024 ASU+GSV Summit for one representative of their company, and the winner will receive:

  • $50,000 cash investment for equity from the WGU Labs Fund
  • $25,000 in services from the WGU Labs Accelerator
  • A paid pilot with WGU for up to $25,000

Applications will be accepted on a first-come basis, so get yours in early! Once the maximum limit of 250 qualifying applications is reached, no further submissions will be considered.

Month in Review

In December we published our end-of-year Impact Report, which includes what we learned in 2023 and our predictions for higher ed and the workforce in 2024.   • 4 Takeaways from the 13th NCHEP In November, WGU Labs attended the 13th Alliance for Higher Education in Prison National Conference to learn how active practitioners, currently and formerly incarcerated students, and support organizations are expanding and empowering learning on the inside.
