AMETEK Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer William J. Burke to Retire

After an exceptional 36-year career, AMETEK’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, William J. Burke, has decided to retire. Mr. Burke’s retirement will be effective April 2, 2024. During his tenure at AMETEK and most recently as CFO, Mr. Burke played a pivotal role in the growth and success of AMETEK, leaving an indelible mark on the organization. Read more here. ?

AMETEK's Board of Directors has named Dalip M. Puri, currently AMETEK Senior Vice President, Operational Finance, as Mr. Burke’s successor. Mr. Puri joined AMETEK in 2017 as Vice President and Treasurer and also was Group Controller prior to his most current Operational Finance role. Read more about Mr. Puri here. ?

AMETEK Completes Acquisition of Paragon Medical

AMETEK announced last month that it has completed its acquisition of Paragon Medical from affiliates of American Securities LLC in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $1.9 billion. Innovating outer space X-ray technology

NASA’s OSIRIS-REx spacecraft recently returned from its journey to and from the asteroid, Bennu. During this seven-year long mission, the spacecraft collected mineral samples from the billion-year-old asteroid that may reveal insights into our own history here on Earth. Educational board game combines environmentalism & STEM

Last month, AMETEK partnered with non-profit organization Learn Fresh to bring to life its newest educational board game, EcoTour. The EcoTour game challenges players to travel sustainably while promoting eco-friendly practices along the way.
