LLNL Announces Fusion Energy Breakthrough

Congratulations to the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory on the successful inertial confinement fusion experiment, a major scientific breakthrough that will pave the way for advancements in the future of clean energy.

This feat required highly precise optics, developed in partnership with our team at Zygo , a global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced optical metrology systems and ultra-precise optical components and assemblies. Well done, team!

AEM Wins Varet Sustainability Award

AMETEK MRO AEM recently won our Elizabeth R. Varet Sustainability Award. The Varet Award highlights the company’s focus on sustainable business practices aimed at reducing our environmental impact. AEM received this award for its vacuum evaporation of hazardous waste effluent.
