What will happen to Gaza when the war ends? Israel shares its plan

The Israeli Defense Minister has shared the plans for future governance of Gaza once the war between Israel and Hamas is over.

Limited Palestinian rule: Hamas won't have control over Gaza, and Israel would maintain overall security control. Palestinians would take on the responsibility of administering the territory, with the condition that there will be no hostile actions or threats against Israel.

Reconstruction efforts: A multinational force will lead the reconstruction efforts in the area.

For now, Israel will take a more targeted approach in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. In the southern region, they would dismantle Hamas's military capabilities. The war would continue until Israel secures the return of all the hostages taken on Oct 7.

Financial Bytes: Is digital gold a good investment?

Digital gold is like a bridge between the traditional world of gold and the modern realm of cryptocurrency. It combines the familiar stability of physical gold with the convenience of the digital age.

How can you buy it?

One of the oldest and most secure ways is to invest in gold-based mutual funds or exchange-traded funds. And, now you can buy it from UPI apps like Paytm and PhonePe too.

Pluses: You can invest small amounts; it offers high liquidity; has no risk of physical theft; you don't have to worry about physical storage.

Minuses: Mirrors that of physical gold and crypto i.e. market volatility. And, you need to keep it in a digital wallet. If you lose access to the wallet or it gets hacked, you may lose your precious digital gold.

See you on Monday!
