Jammin to Stuff Engineers Say

Jammin to Stuff Engineers Say

So what do Microsoft’s CTO and Linkedin’s COO have in common? ? Well, other than being incredible technology leaders, they also happen to be Jam creators that I’m currently subscribed to.? Did you say “Jam?”? Yes, Jam...as in Just a minute. If you didn’t know, now you know.? Jam is a new content distribution platform that specializes in snackable audio content delivered directly to your phone on a schedule of your choosing.? ? Hence the name Jam.??

I was introduced to Jam early through the founders and many months later, it’s now one of the handful of things that make my daily morning ritual.? Every day at exactly 8am, my phone buzzes and I spend the next 5-10 minutes listening to anything from Strategy Thoughts with Dan Shapero to Parents Tip of the day…or even Dad Jokes on the days I’m feeling funny.? In fact, I’ve become so used to my Jams that I had to reach out to the team the one or two times they were delayed.

Now that I have professed my unfettered love for Jam, it should come as no surprise to anyone that I myself am launching my own Jam series for Stuff Engineers Say. ? I may not be quite ready to move into the C-suite just yet, but I’m certainly ready to join Kevin and Dan as Jam creators.? It will be a weekly series with 10-15 episodes and I plan to Jam-ify some of my existing content and even write some new articles in the weeks to come.???

So in the words of my favorite Reggae artist Bob Marley, "We're jammin, jammin...and I hope you like jammin, too!" ? You can now listen to the first episode, I want to become an Engineering Manager, and subscribe to the series by clicking here.
