James Fiorentino to appear at Philly Show -December 12-15, 2024
The Art of Renowned Watercolor Artist James Fiorentino will be showcased in a 3-Day Sports Art Exhibit December 13-15 at The Philly Show (Booth 322-324), where he will unveiling his new book, “The Art of Baseball: The Watercolors of James Fiorentino.”The exhibit will include an array of Fiorentino’s sports art from over the years, including pieces from the “There Is Only One” and “Fiorentino Elite” collections, which both debuted at The Philly Show in September, 2021 and March, 2023 respectively.
James Fiorentino is a watercolor artist and illustrator whose professional career launched while still in high school, when he became the youngest artist ever featured in the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum for his likeness of Reggie Jackson. His sports card art includes collections created for Topps, Upper Deck and Kelloggs. In 1998, while still a student at Drew University (where he was the starting shortstop for the baseball team all four years of college), Fiorentino earned the designation of being the youngest artist to be inducted into the prestigious New York Society of Illustrators, where he joined the ranks of American icons Norman Rockwell and Andrew Wyeth. He is a member of the New Jersey Watercolor Society, Garden State Watercolor Society, American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, Salmagundi Club, Society of Animal Artists, Artists For Conservation, and was recently inducted into the New York State Baseball Hall of Fame.
