Introducing Jaden, an approximately 1-year-old Golden Retriever, with a heart-wrenching story of survival and hope. Two compassionate girls found Jaden, severely injured, and abandoned on the streets. His condition was beyond heart-breaking - maggots had infested his eye and his paw. His scrotum was swollen to the size of a muskmelon, and deep wounds covered his hind leg.

Despite the excruciating pain and the relentless assault of maggots, Jaden remained incredibly cooperative, his tail still wagging. We knew we had to act fast. We sedated him, removing every maggot-infested wound. The infection levels were alarmingly high. But

through it all, Jaden just wanted some belly rubs and reassuring words during his daily treatments.

His journey to recovery began, and we received a glimmer of hope when we saw his little eye peeking through. We're working tirelessly to save his maggot infested eye. Instead of a regular neutering surgery, a scrotal ablation will ensure a healthier life for him ahead. We would also like to mention that he is a cryptorchid dog and one testicle will be surgically removed from his abdomen. Since no one has claimed him in two weeks, he will be available for adoption once he makes a complete recovery.
