Bieber is buzzy, and so is her beauty brand, Rhode.

In a sea of celebrity beauty launches — from Ashley Benson and Ashley Tisdale to Lady Gaga and Brad Pitt —?Rhode stands out. The brand has a definitive point of view, launching with a curated assortment of vegan, cruelty-free essentials, and finding financial success. That’s not always the case when it comes to the beauty lines of the famous, which are sometimes stock formulations in chic packaging, and often criticized online as money grabs.

But Bieber’s Rhode has a veteran beauty team behind it and major growth plans ahead.

Designer Simon Porte?Jacquemus, almost synonymous with beige, white and Mediterranean blue, seems in a mood to try new things. A midcentury couture spirit was woven through his latest see now, buy now collection, seen in the dramatic headwear and fluffy embellishments, while the menswear felt more playful and gender-fluid.

The theme was as subtle as a poke in the eye from a blade of raffia, but will surely play well on social media and nourish the sunny, pastoral spirt of this buzzy fashion house.

“The idea of something so summery, and almost making fun of ourselves with the hats too big,” the designer said backstage, explaining that a raffia technique developed with embroidery house Lesage became the main leitmotif and a tongue-in-cheek way of evoking fur. “We wanted something super elegant.”

Arthur Elgort Talks Fashion, Gigi Hadid, Kate Moss and New?Show

Seated in a director’s chair in the Staley-Wise gallery surrounded by photos from his countless shoots, Arthur Elgort surmised his body of work.

“It’s a lot of jobs. And I could do a million jobs again,” he said. “I’m only good at?photography. That’s because I don’t do anything else. You wouldn’t want to be my wife — it’s boring.”

His career, of course, is anything but that, having traversed the globe capturing striking images of fashion models and the famous. On view through Jan. 28, “Arthur Elgort: On the Move” is a wink at his salad days as a dance photographer. “I realized there was no money [in it] so then they said, ‘What about fashion?’ I gave it a try and have done it ever since,” Elgort said.
