JSHC is once again participating in the Jacksonville Jaguars Give & Go Fundraising Program thanks to the support of the Jaguars Foundation and the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida . Come support your hometown team and JSHC! A portion of every ticket purchased will support the Jacksonville Speech & Hearing Center's mission of helping people of all ages with speech and hearing challenges.

Be sure to join us on December 15th for the ultimate gameday tailgate experience at the Jaguars vs. Jets showdown!

Here’s what’s in store for our Tailgate Party from 10:30AM - 12:30PM:

? Dueling Mimosa & Bloody Mary Bar! ????

? Live Music! ????

? Fun Family Games! ????

The tailgate will take place on the Flex Field Lawn on the south side of EverBank Stadium; between Lots J and D on Gator Bowl Blvd!

?? Kickoff at 1:00PM!

?? Tickets with tailgate are $80.

* If you are a Season ticket holder, you may purchase tickets to the tailgate separately for $25

JSCH STAFF CELEBRATES END OF YEAR!

Our fiscal year runs from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 and we held a staff End of Year Party to celebrate all our successes in a fun way! Our superb Party Planning Committee transported us back into time to the 1920s and turned the Puppet Theater of The Jessie into a very swanky “The Cat’s Meow” club. Everyone looked spectacular in their special costumes.

BOARD SERVICE RECOGNITION

We recently hosted a Board Summer Social for our board members and their significant others, providing a casual environment to show our gratitude for their dedicated service. Special thanks to President and CEO Mike Howland and current Board Chair Jim White for leading the social and Kirk Brennan for hosting it at his home. ?

We had the honor of recognizing the following board members for their exceptional service. One term on our board is 3 years and we are immensely grateful for those members who chose to max out their 3 terms (9 years total service): Kirk Brennan, Brian Clark, Lynne Elliott, Myron Pincomb, Paul Risner, Steve Sherman, and Eric Weinroth. We also acknowledged Brian Clark for his 18 months as Board Chair. We commended Laureen Husband, Angie Koury, and Dr. John Waidner for serving their terms and significant positive impact.?

Many thanks to Chef Antynique Edwards of Nique's Eats, our go-to caterer for special events, for providing delicious food for the occasion. Thank you to everyone who made this event a memorable celebration!

OUR TEAM CONTINUES TO GROW AND “SHINE!”

When you visit our Davis clinic you will notice that we have expanded on the first floor! Speech patients will continue to check-in at Suite 101 and Audiology patients will now check-in at Suite 104. Please pardon our appearance as we repurpose our space to allow for more treatment rooms and advanced equipment! Over time we are looking to do a complete build out and renovation. Stay tuned for those details and ways you can help with our capacity building efforts!

Take a look at all the new hires who joined JSHC in the last year! They have shown tremendous commitment to JSHC and have jumped in with a “whatever it takes” sort of mentality around the office and clinic.

And true to our one word, “Shine,” these remarkable individuals have worked hard to earn their well-deserved promotions throughout the year. We applaud the achievements of our dedicated team members and leaders who enhance our mission of transforming lives through communication. Congratulations to all!!
