Jack.org
Hello Linked In World…My one and only ask in 2020 is for you to consider supporting jack.org: Canada’s only charity training young leaders to revolutionize mental health.
This is an organization I only came to know about recently…but was so moved by the story. Through the tragic loss of their son Jack, Eric Windeler and Sandra Hanington started a memorial fund back in 2010 at Kids Help Phone. That year marked the first-ever Jack Ride with 70 friends, families and volunteers getting on their bikes and starting conversations about mental health.
Today, Jack Ride is Canada's largest ride for youth mental health.
On May 23rd, over 1,200 riders will be supporting youth mental health by participating in the 11th annual Jack Ride. I am proud to be one of those riders.
It will be a deeply meaningful day for me - riding with lifelong friends and celebrating together on a day we know we are doing something truly important.
