Jackets: a lapel for every occasion
We have an endless number of jackets to choose according to the occasion appropriate. It is not only the color or that it is part of the suit, the type of lapel is also important.
The lapel is one of the fundamental parts of a jacket, even if we decide to accompany our outfit with a lapel pin. Therefore they are also divided into three options suitable for each type of event.
Notch lapel:
It is the traditional one that we can appreciate in any jacket and it is characterized by its V shape. It is usually used in any suit that we use for the office. The space for the lapel pin and the pocket are an invitation to combine with the tie.

Peak lapel:
This one shows us as an arrow and you can find it in a blazer or double breasted jacket but they are indicated in a more formal suit such as a tailcoat or a tuxedo. You can also count on the pocket and the opening for the pin.

Rounded lapel:
This, unlike the rest, is made in a rounded shape. If it is wider it will be a classic style and if it is smaller it will be more current. It is usually made of a different fabric from the rest of the jacket, such as silk, and it is exclusively for dress etiquette, no informality with it.

As you can see, we must also take into account the design of the lapel so as not to clash our outfit. Do you have any other advice regarding that? Leave it in the comments.
