Jack Passes PASMA, Huge Fire Protection Contract & Promising New Works!

A week full of internal success and improvement at Dovetail keeps taking us to the next level in compliance and quality. The impact of these processes will bode incredibly well for our staff individually and collectively.

We've also had great success receiving some huge contracts this week thanks to the work of our Passive Fire Protection and our Waste division.

Jack Moreton passes his PASMA course ??

Monday our Electrical Engineer went to take on his PASMA course.

PASMA training covers a range of topics related to the safe use of mobile access towers, including:?

• Assembly and dismantling: How to assemble, dismantle, and move mobile access towers?
• Safety: How to identify hazards, assess stability, and prevent accidents?
• Legislation: Health and safety legislation and regulations, including the PASMA code of practice and EN1004:2004 product standards?
• Work at height: Responsibilities of employers, employees, and suppliers, and when it's safe to use mobile access towers?
• Inspections: How to carry out pre-use checks and post-assembly inspections?
• Best practice: Good practices for the safe use of mobile access towers, including fall protection and tower inspection records

This is great for Jack's development and the company's flexibility in being able to diversify our staff across the business sectors. Well done. ??

??New big exciting job for our Passive Fire Protection division

An impressive new contract has been rewarded to Dovetail Fire this week, this project is not a small one and requires huge diligence and compliance and cover, hence Dovetail Group. We were called upon short notice to upgrade 180 Fire Doors. We are confident we can complete this within 5 days, using our expertise and manpower.

?? Successful Meeting Leads to New Opportunities with Citizen Housing

After a promising meeting with Citizen Last week, our Waste, Civils & SC Operations Manager Brett Medforth had this to say:

Following a productive face-to-face meeting with Citizen Housing, we are pleased to announce that they have entrusted us with two high priority void cleans, with the potential for more projects to come. It was a pleasure to catch up with Beverley and Ellie, and this meeting really highlights the value of maintaining strong client relationships through direct, in-person interactions.

We have provided many services to Citizen before this, and this meeting only improves our relationship and increases our partnership opportunities going forward. Dovetail Waste is excited to get started on these new projects.

?? Internal PAT testing completed

On Friday, we had Jack Moreton in the office to PAT test all of our electrical office devices and appliances, the good news is everything PASSED.

The bad news... the paperwork for Jack.
