IWD2017 gave us all @EY_WFF an opportunity to speak out about how we can accelerate the progress of women in the workplace. #BeBoldForChange was our theme. In this video, I shared my observations regarding the different approaches, confidence and mind-set of XX and XY towards promotion opportunities.
What holds women back? Is it low self-belief, being over critical of their suitability or even de-selection?
As an advocate and beneficiary of female mentors and role models I recommend seeking out those who show compassion, empathy and appreciation towards others.
