IVIM 2024 August Spotlight

IVIM 2024 August Spotlight

We are excited to introduce our very first monthly spotlight through which we will share the updates in IVIM Technology! Starting this month, we will share IVIM's latest developments, including cutting-edge research, as well as detailed information on our products and services.

In the August 2024 edition of the IVIM Spotlight, we highlight our newly developed fixation adjuncts—the Staging Platform and the Dynamic Organ Imaging Chamber. We also feature recent in vivo imaging studies utilizing the Dynamic Organ Imaging Chamber in combination with the IVM-TMS (Tissue Motion Stabilizer). Additionally, we provide a recap of IVIM's booth exhibitions in August and share a preview of upcoming global events next month.

Fixation Adjuncts for Optimal In Vivo Imaging

IVIM Technology offers intravital in vivo imaging fixation adjuncts for long-term longitudinal imaging of various organs, such as the heart, lung, brain, abdominal organs, mammary tissue, pancreas, and uterus, in living mice.

Our systems allow continuous imaging sessions for several weeks post-exposure, minimizing the need for sacrificing animals after each session and promoting ethical research practices.

Staging Platform

IVIM's Staging Platform provides a more convenient method for directly observing various organs and tissues (e.g. spleen, lymph node, liver, intestine, pancreas, etc.) in vivo.

It is designed with a magnetic base, allowing it to be easily positioned at various locations and heights on the accompanying heating plate, which provides exceptional flexibility, enabling researchers to adjust the platform to the optimal position to obtain high-quality images.

Dynamic Organ (Heart/Lung/Uterus/Thymus) Imaging Chamber Kit

In addition, we have also released a Dynamic Organ Chamber Kit, which combines the previous Heart, Lung, and Uterus Imaging Chamber Kits. It employs micro-suction technology with a Tissue Motion Stabilizer (IVM-TMS) to maintain negative pressure between the tissue and cover glass, effectively preventing micron-level tissue movement. This design provides stable imaging conditions, allowing for precise observation of dynamic organs in live mice under anesthesia.
