I've learned that change is the only constant in our lives. Accepting this enables us to embrace all the opportunities and blessings that change creates space for.
I've learned that pain is real, and so is hope.
I've learned that just because you can't see something, it doesn't mean that it's not there. This is true for people, faith, and all feelings.
I've learned that healing may look like complete destruction and devastation from the outside.
I've learned that our definition of a boring normal day just might be the most blessed gift we could be fortunate enough to unwrap.
I've learned that people may let you down and disappoint you but people will also surprise you in ways you never imagined possible with unconditional love, friendship and care that knows no bounds.
I've learned that being kind is far more important than being right.
I've learned that we can't rush any process and that some things, like growing a flower or your own vegetables, need a lot of patience to bloom.
I've learned we can never have enough patience.
I've learned that optimism is a super power.
I've learned the magic of curiosity open-mindedness and courage to try something new.
I've learned that putting yourself in someone else's shoes requires more than just switching places. It means we must become them, in every way, feel what they feel, see what they see, and do what they do. Only then can we truly understand what real empathy is all about.
I've learned that your children know alot more than you. And it's important to stay humble.
I've learned that both sweat and tears make every day that much better.
I've learned that asking for and accepting help are both signs of tremendous strength.
I've learned a new version of courage bravery and heroism. Sometimes we must revisit our old definitions.
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.
I've learned that there is always another way and if a door is shut, find a new, different, creative way in.
I've learned that it's OK to not know. Some things can be filed in the "I don't know folder" for now.
I've learned that love can't solve everything but it makes anything bearable.
I've learned that really listening to someone is the highest form of validation and respect.
I've learned that being scared is part of hard times and grief. And mourning is subjective to the human condition. We each move through it in our own ways. There is not one way.
I've learned that our bodies and minds are miraculous and what you may just take for granted, some people are praying for.
I've learned the value of time and money. And what times enables and money can and can't buy.
I've learned that rest is essential and self-care is non-negotiable.
I've learned that 'no' is a full sentence. Without justification.
I've learned the awesomeness of saying 'yes' even when it scares the hell out of you.
I've learned that we are stronger than we think and we can do very difficult things.
I've learned that laughter, coffee, dancing, sunsets, long walks and the sea - are really really really good for me.
I've learned that family and close friends are truly irreplaceable.
I've learned that connection is more powerful than physical presence and and silence separates us more than any distance.
I've learned we can embrace paradox and actually celebrate and feel joy, even if we are scared, frustrated or suffering.
I've learned that when things fall apart, they may actually somehow fall into place.
I've learned when we fall down, there is miraculously something there for us to find. Look wisely.
I've learned that we need to learn how to breathe. Properly. Breathing is a game-changer.
I've learned that every person is different and we can never ever judge someone for fighting their battles differently to us.
I've learned to worry more about what I think about me than what others do. Integrity is a very big deal.
I've learned to make the most of each hour, just one at a time, and that breaking things down into small chunks is a wise thing to do for almost every single thing.
I've learned that I can miss the people I love and also value my own time and space.
I've learned that I can feel the heartache of my old normal and still embrace the calm, slower pace and quiet of this messy middle.
I've learned that I have so much to look forward to and that needing something to long for, makes you feel alive. Missing means I love deeply. True for family, work, travel, events and more! That's huge.
I've learned to appreciate a delicious coffee at the beach more than ever before. And you know how I feel about sunsets!
I've learned that life is measured by both intentions and actions and some people will always judge you on both of these accounts.
I've learned that doing small acts with great love can turn someone's day around.
I've learned that the right thing is not the easier thing and most times, the most uncomfortable thing.
I've learned that you can't expect to influence others if you are not living your truth. This is true in politics and in everything else. Authenticity matters.
I've learned that my smile stands for a grounded optimism that tomorrow can be better than today. I am far from na?ve and reality doesn't just bite, sometimes it gouges a hole within your very soul. But cultivating great mindset and facing the hard facts aren't mutually exclusive. I know I can do both.
I've learned that reaching out sincerely and choosing to see the best in people and help others is such a beautiful and tremendously spectacular way to live.
I've learned that if we are willing to feel everything, we can achieve anything.
I've learned that gratitude is so good for us. In ways we can't begin to imagine.

2 年Thanks for sharing!! I also learned to embrace, and even leverage change recently. I think it's extremely important and a mandatory way for us to grow. https://www.dhirubhai.net/posts/noga-gur-arieh-golan-56004458_opportunity-change-activity-6967745090232438784-Q33a?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_android
