I've been meaning to tell you something

After deciding to go out on my own last fall, there were many who suggested I start my own thing. Sure, the idea sounded exciting, but for someone like me — who doesn’t exactly scream entrepreneur — I wasn’t so sure.

And now, here I am — launching Caroline in the Capital, a new initiative that I believes fills a gap in community-focused journalism.

I feel blessed for the support, encouragement and mentorship of so many business and non-profit leaders who recognize the value of connecting people, keeping them informed, and strengthening our community. My motivation came from each and every one of them – and my loving husband.
