Delivering The North’s Largest Events | Head of Partnerships, Hospitality & Exhibition Sales
One involving subjects not from our own industries, but those involving life sciences and medical developments.
It made me think what Liverpool has to offer these incredible industries and how our exhibition sector can help these organisations develop new trends, create lasting relationships and combine their wealth of knowledge all under one roof.
Liverpool may be synonymous with music and sport but from the earliest days of public health pioneer Dr Duncan who was the country’s first ever Medical Officer of Health, through to today’s cutting-edge research undertaken by Liverpool Health Partners, it is clear to me that Liverpool leads the way in medicine!

Across our region, a plethora of organisations, research institutions and academic bodies are pursuing innovations in areas such as infection, precision medicine, children’s health and veterinary science.

Experts in Delivering Medical Events
Here on our campus, we’ve held a myriad of medical exhibitions in our exhibition centre, in fact the first trade show we hosted when we opened our doors in 2015 was Wound Expo.??Since then, we’ve welcomed thousands of visitors to events such as NHS ConfedExpo and the Foot and Ankle Show.?
Meanwhile our sister venue ACC Liverpool has hosted leading international medical conferences such as the Royal College of Nursing, the Global Symposium on Health Systems Research, the European Cystic Fibrosis Conference and NHS Confederation.
So, plenty of stats to digest when thinking about the life science industry and what we as a venue can provide.?There’s just so many organisations and institutions to tap into and so much opportunity to attract a wealth of attendees - from academics and researchers to medical professionals - making Liverpool a leading international hub for health and life sciences professionals.
Most importantly here at Exhibition Centre Liverpool – with the support of the city and organisations such as the Growth Platform and Invest Liverpool – we can support those organisations to deliver an unforgettable exhibition experience.
